Description

Ethics for a Modern Workforce is a complete business ethics training program that covers multiple skill levels in a variety of industries. The program builds participants’ ethical skills and knowledge using practical teaching and real-life scenarios. It covers all the major corporate compliance areas but retains solid roots in timeless principles of personal character and integrity. It includes a step-by-step facilitator guide with teaching materials and participant workbooks that are used as employee manuals. Ethics Competencies

Ethics for a Modern Workforce progresses sequentially through steps called Ethics Competencies. Ethics Competencies allow employees to receive training that is appropriate for their line of work. The first competency covers basic skills that every employee should know, i.e. ethical responsibilities, decision-making skills, harassment issues, and more. The second competency covers topics that might apply to anyone working in an office setting or who deals with customers. Topics include confidentiality, conflicts of interest, protecting company resources, etc. Each competency contains eight modules, which last approximately 30 minutes each. In addition to the first two competencies, there is a competency for managers and additional tracks for various industries.

Use of Employee Manuals

Each competency has its own employee manual. This is a workbook that guides the participants through the course by providing outlines, activities, Q & A, and discussion questions. All the points in the course are included in outline form with blanks for filling in keywords and for completing activities. Assessment questions are included at the end of each module. The manual is consumable and may only be used by one participant.
